Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Slovakia: Q1 2025 iOS Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of leading carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Slovakia showed varied trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here, we take a closer look at the top five apps based on insights from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a stable presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 1.5K and 2.2K. Active users initially dipped from 56K to 52K but rebounded to peak at approximately 75K in mid-March, before settling around 59K by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride saw its weekly downloads range from 600 to 1.2K. The active user base remained relatively stable, starting at 3.9K and experiencing minor fluctuations, closing the quarter at roughly 3K.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a consistent download pattern, averaging around 300 weekly downloads. Active users started at over 5K and showed a slight downward trend, ending March at approximately 3.9K.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery experienced a peak in downloads in late February with 396 downloads, but overall downloads decreased towards the end of March. Active users reached a high of 5K in late February, settling at around 4.3K by quarter-end.

Careem – rides, food & more exhibited a steady download rate, peaking at 198 in late February. Active users saw a similar pattern, starting at 370 and peaking at 429, before declining to approximately 350 at the end of March.
